Southern Door was able to overcome first half foul trouble and beat Sturgeon Bay, 65-52, in a boys Packerland Conference basketball game in Sturgeon Bay on Friday. The Eagles led 40-36 with around 10:00 to play and went on a 12-2 run to put the game out of reach. Kyle Daoust scored only two points in the first half because of foul trouble but finished with a game high 20 points to lead the Eagles while Derik LeCaptain added 17 and Ryan Claflin finished with 15. Carson Talbert scored 20 to lead the Clippers while Gunnar Tebon scored 11 and Trent Ehlers 10.
