The Door County United swim team finished as runner-up in the WIAA Division 2 Sectional in Plymouth on Saturday. Cedarburg won the title with 378 points withe DCU totaling 292. Swimmers Win Title

The Door County United swim team won the Eastern Wisconsin Conference Championship in Chilton on Saturday, their first since joining the league in 2012. Brock Aune took first in the 50 freestyle, while Aune and Drew Rass finished first and second in the 100 breaststroke. Eagles Handle Bulldogs

The Southern Door boys basketball team cruised to a 61-37 win over Peshtigo on Saturday. The Eagles (9-2, 11-5) opened the game on a 19-4 run and the Bulldogs (6-4, 9-5) never seriously threatened a comeback. State Swimming Results

Brock Aune earned a second place finish in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 57.60 seconds at the WIAA Division 2 State Swimming and Diving Championships in Madison. Aune also finished third in a highly competitive 50 yard freestyle race. He improved on his 22.23 seed time as he finished in 21.96 seconds.
