Southern Door beat Sturgeon Bay for the second time this season, 42-6, to clinch their second straight Packerland Conference championship. Derik LeCaptain scored four touchdowns, two rushing (32, 12 yards) and two receiving (35, 20 yards) and finished with 193 total yards to lead the Eagles. Quarterback Nick LeCaptain had a 43 yard touchdown run in the first half but left the game with an injury in the third quarter and sophomore Kyle Daoust added a pair of fourth quarter touchdown passes. Southern Door scored on their opening possession only to see the Clippers (0-5, 2-6) answer with a 73 yard scoring pass from Ethan Knipfer to Connor Gajda but the Eagles (5-0, 8-0) led 28-6 at halftime. Sam Gerend and Derik LeCaptain had interceptions for Southern Door and Nathan Hendrickson recovered a fumble for Sturgeon Bay.
