The Door County United swim team finished as runner-up in the WIAA Division 2 Sectional in Plymouth on Saturday. Cedarburg won the title with 378 points withe DCU totaling 292. The State Meet is at the UW-Natitorium in Madison on Friday Night at 6:30.
Brock Aune finished 2nd in the 50 Freestyle and 100 breaststroke events and has qualified for State in both events. Jacob Norton (3rd) and Drew Rass (7th) have also qualified for State in the 100 Breaststroke. Also qualifying for the State Meet in Madison are the 200 Medley Relay team of Norton, Aune, Connor Thompson and Ethan Almstadt and also the 200 Freestyle team of Luke Bousley, Jesper Johnson, Rass and Thompson.
