Sturgeon Bay Library Soon Offering Curbside Pre-Orders

With the Governor’s new version of the “Safer at Home” order, libraries can now offer limited services. All branches of the Door County Library have been closed since March 25th, but starting next week on May 4th the Sturgeon Bay branch will be offering partial pickup service. New procedures will be in place so that picking up and returning items will be as safe as possible for both you and the staff. Returned items will themselves be quarantined from the rest of the collection for 72 hours. Also, the staff is maintaining all health protocols, using protective equipment, and sanitizing surfaces. Library orders can be made by calling 920-743-6578 on Mondays and Wednesdays between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. You can then pick up your items Tuesdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Thursdays from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm. Each library card holder is permitted 5 items per order. Each building in the library system, however, will remain closed to the public until further notice.
