Starting this Monday June 1st, the Door County Library System will ease into “Phase 1” of their gradual expansion of services. They will now be offering pick-up service at all library branches across the county. There are still no inter-library loans at this time, so patrons must call individual branches to request items from an individual library’s collection and schedule a pick-up time. All library buildings remain closed for the time being, and social distancing is stressed when picking up or returning your items. Community Relations Library Assistant Morgan Mann commented, “We are excited to get back to work inside the branches and sharing our collections again. We’ve been working hard at getting processes down to best serve our communities and opening access safely.” The varying pick-up and return times for individual branches can be viewed on the library website at “DoorCountyLibrary.org”.
