The vehicle will be purchased from Ferrara Fire Apparatus of Holden, Louisiana at a cost not to exceed $960,000. The vehicle replaces the 1987 Pierce 105 foot aerial acquired in 1987. Because of the length of time it takes to build a new fire truck, Dietman doesn’t anticipate having the new aerial truck in service until the latter stages of 2017.
