DCMC Now Offers Free Virtual COVID-19 Screening

The Door County Medical Center has announced free virtual online screening for COVID-19, now available through the medical center’s patient portal. For individuals concerned about whether they have contracted or been exposed to COVID-19, they can now log onto or set up a profile on the patient portal at “MyDoorCountyHealth.org”. Then you can schedule a virtual visit with a nurse practitioner through your computer or personal device. These free virtual screenings are for those with minor to moderate symptoms such as a fever, couch, and shortness of breath. Once you have accessed the patient portal, first time users can follow the prompts to set up your profile. Once connected with a nurse practitioner, you can discuss known risk factors, ask questions about next steps, and possibly be referred to the right location for an in-person visit. You can still call their COVID-19 hotline for free seven days a week from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. That COVID-19 hotline is 920-746-3700.
