Changes at WI State Parks

Many Wisconsin state parks and forests were reopened Friday and now all state parks will again be charging admission. One new change is that, for now, only annual admission stickers will be sold. DN.R. Conservation Warden Chris Kratcha explains further…..

There are a number of other temporary changes in these parks. Until further notice, all park bathrooms will be closed. You are being asked to bring in your own drinking water because the park drinking fountains are currently shut down. Also, with no garbage collection, you must plan ahead and take your trash with you when you leave the park. Kratcha also details the new park hours…

You can order your annual state parks admission sticker by calling toll free 1-888-305-0398. For more park information you can go to the Wiscosin D.N.R. Website at “dnr.wi.gov” and click on “state parks”. Also, keep in mind that some parks may be temporarily limiting how many visitors can enter due to safety concerns and capacity limits.
