The Sturgeon Bay boys basketball team picked up a non-conference win over Two Rivers, 70-62, at Menominee Nation Arena on Saturday. Gunner Tebon scored 24 points to lead the Clippers.
Sevastopol finished in third place at the Lena Holiday Tournament. The Pioneers lost to Stockbridge, 66-61, on Friday as Robby Pollman scored 17 points and Brent Haberli added 13. On Saturday, the Pioneers beat Lena, 68-42, as Robby Pollman (14) Brent Haberli (13) and Cole Dworak (11) led the way.
On Friday, Southern Door lost at Sheboygan Fall, 75-40, as Ryan Claflin (13) and Jack Peterson (10) finished in double figures.
The Algoma girls lost to Two Rivers, 50-19, on Saturday. Emersyn Wallace led the Wolves with 9 points.
Southern Door’s Grant Englebert finished in 6th place and Kewaunee’s Jack Severin placed 4th at the On the Water Wrestling Classic in Oshkosh this weekend. Luxemburg-Casco was at the Bi-State Classic in LaCrosse. Lucas Joniaux and Reece Worachek won championships while Kyle Kroll placed 3rd. Hunter Joniaux (9th) Easton Worachek (10th) and Luke Shefchik (10th) added top 10 finishes for the Spartans. L-C won the Division 2 team title with 222.5 points while Prairie du Chien totaled 213.5.
