Wolves Winning Streak Continues

Algoma beat Southern Door, 51-35, in a girls Packerland Conference basketball game on Tuesday Night in Algoma.  The Eagles scored the first four points of the second half and had a 26-25 lead but were limited by the Wolves to just nine points the rest of the game.  Anna Dier and freshman Makayla Guilette scored 14 points to lead Algoma and Baleigh Delorit added 10 after missing much of the first half with fouls.  Alexa Soto led Southern Door with 11 points despite being helped from the floor late in the first half after passing out.  She did return in the second half and scored five points.  The Eagles also played part of the first half and all of the second without Gabby Atkins because of an injury.  The Wolves have won 36 consecutive Packerland Conference games.
