The Algoma softball team won the WIAA Division 3 Sectional with a 5-1 win at Horicon on Thursday. The Wolves took the lead in the bottom of the 6th inning on an RBI groundball by McKenzie Mueller than scored Kaylee Pieschek. Before the dust settled on the inning, the Wolves scored four runs with two out as Kathy Bluett and Andie Vandertie added RBI singles. Courtney Dart limited the Marsh Ladies to 3 hits and added 2 doubles to fuel the Algoma attack. The Wolves will play defending champion Poynette at Goodman Diamond in Madison on Friday June 15th at 3:30. We will have the broadcast on 93.9FM / wdor.com
