Wolves Upset Eagles

Algoma survived a big second half run from Southern Door and beat the Eagles in overtime, 56-51, in the Fulwiler Fieldhouse on Friday Night.  The Wolves (4-3, 4-6) opened a 42-29 lead with 13:41 to play in the second half but the Eagles (6-1, 8-3) answered with a 13-0 run over the next 8 minutes and eventually forced overtime tied at 46-46.  Mikayla Haack scored the first basket of overtime and the Wolves never trailed in the extra session.  Haack finished with 18 points while Jordan Jossie added 12 and Lucy Wiese finished with 10 points.  Gabby Atkins and Meghan La Crosse scored 16 points each for Southern Door.
