Wolves Stay in First Place

Algoma beat Sturgeon Bay, 57-55, in a boys Packerland Conference basketball game in Sturgeon Bay on Friday Night.  The Wolves closed the game on a 14-7 run to escape with the win and hold on to first place at the top of the league standings.  Alex Dellis finished with a game high 25 points, including five in a row to take the lead, for the Wolves (9-1, 14-3) while Booker Prokash added 14 off the bench in the win.  Jared Van Bramer led the Clippers (5-5, 8-8) with 13 points and Mitchell Jackson added 11.  Algoma will play at second place Southern Door on Tuesday and we’ll have the broadcast on WDOR.
