The Algoma girls finished in second place at the WIAA Division 3 State Track & Field Meet in La Crosse this weekend. Benton won the team title with 40 points, the Wolves were second with 39 while Ozaukee and Newman Catholic tied for third with 38 points. Individually, Elizabeth McClure (5’4) repeated as state champion in the high jump and Sam Utesch cleared 13’6 for second place in the pole vault.
