Wolves Dominate Cuba City

The Algoma girls basketball team advanced to the WIAA Division 4 State Title game by beating Cuba City 62-39 at the Resch Center in Green Bay on Thursday Night.  The  Wolves opened the game with a 10-0 run but the Cubans (25-2) narrowed the gap to 16-13 with 4:39 to play in the half.  After an Algoma timeout, the Wolves would score 12 straight points on their way to a 30-18 halftime lead.  The Cubans would get no closer than 9 points in the second half.  Not only were the 62 points allowed a season high for the Cubans, their 39 scored was their lowest of the season.
