Algoma rallied from a 2-0 6th inning deficit to beat Southern Door 3-2 in 8 innings at Peterson Park in Algoma on Monday. With the win, the Wolves (13-1) win the Packerland Conference Championship and snap the Eagles (12-2) six year reign as league champs. Southern Door took a 2-0 lead in the 5th inning when Amy Englebert hit an RBI triple and scored on a wild pitch. Meg Ryan drove in the Wolves first run in the 6th, the Wolves tied it on a Southern Door error in the 7th and won the game when Courtney Dart scored on a wild pitch in the 8th. Algoma had only two hits in the game.
