The Algoma girls basketball team opened their season with a 67-35 win over Gibraltar on Tuesday Night in Algoma. The Wolves led only 11-8 at the end of the first quarter, but opened the second quarter on a 17-0 run on their way to a 30 point quarter and a 41-17 halftime lead. Algoma was led by Kennedy Blahnik with 13 points while Anna Dier added 12 and Meg Ryan finished with 11 points. Lauren Kita scored 11 points and Helen Hecht added 9 for the Vikings.

Sturgeon Bay lost a double dual to Bay Port (72-22) and Pulaski (54-35). Kyle Hubbard won the 100 Butterfly and Will Hartman was second in the 500 Freestyle. Hubbard, Hartman, Doug Foss, Creston Davison and Sean Sannito combined to finish 2nd in the 200 Freestyle and 200 Medley Relay.
