Algoma beat Kewaunee, 60-49, in a girls Packerland Conference basketball game on Thursday Night in Algoma. With the win, the Wolves (14-0, 20-2) extended their conference winning streak to 44 games and have also won 56 straight league games at home. Algoma used an early 13-0 run to eventually lead 30-16 late in the first half but the Storm (11-3, 16-5) answered with a 19-6 run of their own to close to within 36-35. But Anna Dier hit a three pointer and Lucy Wiese swished a pair from beyond the arc to quickly built the lead to 45-37 and Kewaunee would be no closer than seven points the rest of the game. Dier led Algoma with 23 points while Bailey Delorit (11) and Lucy Wiese (10) were also in double figures for the Wolves. Brooke Geier led Kewaunee with 23 points.
