Wolves Beat Southern Door

The Algoma softball team rallied to beat Southern Door 5-4 at Pedersen Park on Monday.  The Wolves took the lead on a 2 run double by Tanika Jorgenson in the first inning only to see the Eagles answer with a run in the 2nd inning and a three run third.  Southern Door took the lead when Rachel Andres hit a 2 run single while Acacia Tupa tripled in both rallies.  The Wolves took the lead in the bottom of the 6th when Taylor Schmidt hit a 2 run single that scored Andie Vandertie and Kathy Bluett.  Jorgenson allowed 6 hits while pitching the win for Algoma.
