Wisconsin Looks To Bounce Back

The Wisconsin football team will play at Ohio State Saturday night.  The Badgers are now 2-1 in the Big Ten and 6-1 overall after suffering a last second, upset loss at Michigan State last week.  That loss also dropped Wisconsin to 11th in the coaches poll, 12th in the media top 25 and down to 15th in the BCS standings.  Defensive tackle Patrick Butrym said that the Badgers have move on from the loss to the Spartans…

Ohio State is 1-2 in the Big Ten and 4-3 overall.  They are not ranked in either poll and they do not appear in the BCS standings.  Badgers head coach Bret Bielema believes that the Buckeyes are better than their record indicates…

Saturday night’s game is the 77th meeting between Wisconsin and Ohio State.  The Buckeyes lead 53-18-5.

Wisconsin is 2-2 in their last four games at Ohio Stadium.  The Badgers have lost their last two in Columbus. (2007 and 2009)

This is just the second time since 1974 that Wisconsin has gone to Ohio State as a ranked team.  The Badgers went to Columbus in 2004 ranked 15th and won 24-13.
