Wilson, Badgers Beat Hoosiers

Senior Rob Wilson scored a career-high 30 points to help 14th ranked Wisconsin beat 15th ranked Indiana Friday afternoon 79-71 in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament.  Wilson hit 11-of-16 shots, including 7-of-10 from three point range.  The seven three’s are a Badgers record.  Wisconsin improves to 24-8 and Bo Ryan is now first in school history with 266 wins.  Wisconsin has now won the last ten against Indiana.

Jared Berggren scored 16 points and Ryan Evans and Jordan Taylor both chipped in 12 for Wisconsin, who will take on 8th ranked Michigan State in the semifinals Saturday.  The Spartans swept the Badgers in the regular season by scores of 63-60 and 69-55.  Pregame coverage on 93.9 FM WDOR begins at 11:30.  Tip-off from Indianapolis is at 12:30.
