The WIAA vollebyall tournament opened last night. All four Door County schools lost in the opening round while all three Kewaunee County schools advanced to the second round.
Division 2
10 seed Kiel won at 7 seed Southern Door, 3 games to 1 (25-18, 18-25, 25-12, 25-20)
6 seed Sheboygan falls beat 11 seed Sturgeon Bay, 3 games to 1 (25-20, 20-25, 25-19, 25-9)
3 seed Luxemburg-Casco swept 14 seed Two Rivers, 3 games to 0 (25-8, 25-12, 25-7)
Luxemburg-Casco will host Sheboygan Falls in the regional semifinals Thursday.
Divsion 3
6 seed Saint Mary’s Springs swept Gibraltar, 3 games to 0 (25-23, 25-20, 25-21)
4 seed Kewaunee swept 13 seed Cedar Grove-Belgium, 3 games to 0 (25-20, 25-9, 25-11)
8 seed Algoma beat 9 seed Reedsville, 3 games to 1 (25-11, 25-20, 21-25, 25-19)
Kewaunee will host 5 seed Manitowoc Lutheran Thursday night.
Algoma is at top seeded Oostburg.
Division 4
4 seed Lake Country Lutheran swept 13 seed Sevastopol, 3 games to 0 (25-12, 25-18, 25-20)
