The WIAA cross country, soccer and volleyball tournaments continued over the weekend.
The Luxemburg-Casco girls team finished second at the Two Rivers Sectional on Friday. Jaci Legois was the individual winner of the race and will be joined at the State Meet by teammates Lizzy Giddley, Faith Vania, Kalista Arendt, Lauren Shefchik, Hannah Judkins and Jena Berceau. Southern Door’s Gracie Englebert also qualified for the State Meet. The Kewaunee girls team finished second at the Sheboygan Lutheran Sectional and Amanda Vandenplas, Lexi Rentmeester, Brianne Barta, Breanna Vandenplas, Kenna Rentmeester, Gabriella Czech and Emily Ostermeier will run at State. Also qualifying for the State Meet at Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids is Jacob Wahlers of Algoma after he won the Sectional on Saturday. Cody Carlson (Sevastopol) and Harold Iwen (Algoma) also qualified.
Sturgeon Bay beat Wrightstown, 6-0, on Saturday for their 7th consecutive regional crown while Kewaunee was a 3-2 winner over Gibraltar/Sevastopol. The Storm will play the Clippers in a WIAA Division 4 sectional semi-final at Clark Field at 7:00 on Thursday Night.

Wrightstown swept Luxemburg-Casco (25-21, 25-23, 25-21) in a Division 2 regional final.
