Southern Door beat Kewaunee, 6-0, in a WIAA Division 3 softball game on Tuesday. Lexy Wery fired a three hit shutout as the Eagles (20-3) advanced to the sectional final for the third time in the last four years. Southern Door took control of the game by scoring 4 runs in the second inning as Melanie Watters, Jessica Jacobson and Grave LeGrave had RBI singles. Tehya Bertrand (3 hits) homered for the third straight game while Wery and Nicole Norton had two hits each. Cierra Brann had two hits for the Storm (14-7) and Claire Kohnle doubled. The Eagles will play Oconto at Chilton at 5:30 on Thursday (WDOR).
