Weyauwega-Fremont recovered from a slow start to the second half and rallied to beat Gibraltar, 49-40, in a WIAA Division 4 girls basketball regional final game in Fish Creek on Saturday Night. The Vikings had built a 32-25 lead in the second half and held the Indians (15-10) without a field goal until there was 6:29 to play. But W-F finished the game on a 24-8 run and took there first lead with 4:45 to play. Alyssa Goode (20 points) hit a pair of timely three pointers and the Indians also made 20 of 24 free throws in the second half. Sheridan Ash led Gibraltar (17-8) with 12 points and Payton Pluff added 11 for the Vikings.
