The Gibraltar golf team won the Division 3 WIAA Regional at Pine Hill Golf Course in Gillett on Tuesday. The Vikings 355 was 18 shots better than Saint Thomas Aquinas. Grant Heiman, Logan Ferrie, Ethan Woullette and Sam Higgenbotham were Gibraltar’s top golfers. Sevastopol’s Sam Potier finished 2nd individually with an 82 while Bryce Birmingham also qualifies for Sectionals with an 89.
Luxemburg-Casco finished 3rd at the Division 2 Regional at Hilly Haven Golf Course in De Pere. The Spartans advanced to Sectionals and were led by Lexi Dax, David Spengler, Michael Spengler and Derek Kollross. Sturgeon Bay’s Sean Hogan shot an 84 to advance while the Clippers finished 5th and Southern Door 9th.
