The WIAA Division 3 Boys State Golf Meet wrapped up Tuesday at University Ridge in Madison. Gibraltar/Washington Island was three shots better as a team on day two, finishing their second round at 362 (+74). The Vikings finished tied for sixth with Saint Mary’s Springs, as both had a two day total score of 727 (+151). Sevastopol improved by 15 shots on Tuesday finishing the day with a team score of 382 (+94). The Pioneers finished eighth at 779 (+203). Cuba City won the D3 state title with a two day team score of 659 (+83).

Luxemburg-Casco’s David Spengler finished tied for eighth in the Division 2 meet. Spengler shot identical six-over 78’s and finished at +12. Charlie Danielson of Osceola beat Madison Edgewood’s Johnny Decker in a two-hole playoff. It is Danielson’s second state title.
