Gibraltar beat Mishicot in a WIAA Division 3 regional semi-final, 7-4, at Billerbeck Field in Fish Creek on Tuesday. The Vikings jumped out to a 4-0 lead after four innings only to see the Indians tie the game at 4-4. Bubba Laughlin hit a two out, RBI double in the bottom of the sixth inning and the Vikings would score two more runs before the inning was over. Laughlin picked up the win in relief of Ernie Erickson. Gibraltar will host Roncalli in the regional championship game on Wednesday after the Jets beat Algoma 4-1 on Tuesday. Sevastopol beat top seeded Wausaukee, 4-1, in eight innings in Wausaukee. Quin Schram (10K) went the distance on a three hitter for the Pioneers. Lucas Stenzil led off the Pioneers 8th inning with a triple and set the stage for an RBI single from Zach Christianson that put Sevastopol in front for good. The Pioneers will play at Gresham on Wednesday.
