Valders beat Southern Door, 55-42, in a boys WIAA Division 3 regional semi-final on Friday Night in Valders. The Eagles had an early 8-4 lead before the Vikings went on a 10-0 run to take the lead and an overall 33-6 run to build a 37-14 halftime lead. Thomas Schwoerer scored all of his game high 13 points in the first half and Zack Goedeke added 10 to lead Valders (20-3). The Eagles (13-10) were led by Aaron Larsen and Austin Rohe with 7 points each.
Luxemburg-Casco beat Chilton 72-54 on Friday but lost at Valders 65-52 on Saturday. The Vikings lead 24-21 at the half and opened the second half with a quick 8-0 and the Spartans could never catch up. Forrest Fenlon scored 22 points and Zack Goedeke 16 for the Vikings while Carson Falk had 11 for the Spartans. Valders will play Roncalli in a Division 3 Sectional Final at De Pere on Thursday.
