The Ahnapee Legion baseball team won their season opener over Denmark, 2-1, on Friday Night at Memorial Field. Jeffrey Alberts pitched a three hit (4K) complete game for the Trailblazers while Tanner DeGrave and Jaeger Brusky had 2 hits each. Ahnapee scored the game winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning when a Max Bordeau sacrifice fly scored Adam Gutschow. The Trailblazers are playing in the Kewaunee County tournament in Casco this weekend.
