Ahnapee lost to Shawano, 3-2, in the opening round of the Class AA American Legion regional tournament in Luxemburg on Thursday. The Trailblazers tied the game at 1-1 in the second inning when Austin Lardinois scored on a wild pitch and took the lead in the 4th inning on a Jeffrey Alberts RBI single. But Shawano tied the game in the bottom of the 6th on an RBI sacrifice fly and won the game on a passed ball in the last of the 7th inning. Mitchel Neubauer, Lardinois and Beau Schartner joined Alberts with base hits for Ahnapee.
