Kewaunee County beat Ahnapee, 10-3, at the Class AA American Legion regional tournament in Luxemburg on Friday. The Trailblazers took a 2-1 lead to the bottom of the 5th inning but the Lakers exploded for 9 runs for the win. Logan Brusky doubled and Nathan Giachino walked to get the rally started and Kewaunee County took the lead on a 2 run double from Jarrett Seidl. After 4 consecutive walks by Mitchel Neubauer, Brusky hit a 2 run double as the Lakers pulled away. Brusky went the first six innings for the win for the Lakers. Austen Dart had 2 hits and scored twice for Ahnapee while Austin Lardinois doubled and finished with 2 RBI’s.
