Trailblazers Get Win #1

The Ahnapee American Legion baseball team won their first game of the season on Sunday, 6-0, over Freedom at the Casco Village Park.  The Trailblazers went (1-2) at the Kewaunee County Father’s Day Tournament.  Northern Door suffered an 8-3 loss to Little Chute on Sunday Night at the Sevastopol Town Park in Institute.

Northern Door
The Chiefs took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the third inning as Joe Burlo hit a 2-run double and Nathan Ewaskowitz followed with an RBI double.  Little Chute tied the game in the top of the 4th inning and scored 5 runs in the top of the 6th inning for the win.  Brady Weigman struck out 8 in a complete game win and added three hits and 4 RBI”s for the Mustangs.

Friday
The Chiefs game at Mishicot was suspended tied at 9-9 and will be completed on July 7th.

Senior Babe Ruth
Door County stayed undefeated in the Green Bay League with an 8-5 win over the Sheriff’s Team at Green Isle Park on Sunday.  Santanna Pinkert and Lucas Stenzel combined to pitch the win while Drew Tanck and Pinkert had two hits each.  The Bays turned a triple play in the 6th inning.
