Gibraltar’s Tom Sawyer helped the Ripon College football team to a wild 50-47 win over Monmouth College on Saturday. Sawyer, the Red Hawks quarterback, rushed for 123 yards and four touchdowns as Ripon rallied from a 19 point third quarter deficit. The Red Hawks will finish their 2012 schedule next weekend at Lawrence University in Appleton.
