The Door County Sturgeons took 2nd place in the Brown Deer Brawl Tournament at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center this past weekend in Milwaukee. The team went undefeated in their first seven games of the two day tournament, beating teams from the University of Illinois, Chicago, Michigan State University, two teams from Minnesota, and two teams from Ohio. They lost their final game against to the Swordfish from Atlanta, Georgia. The Sturgeons practice at the Sturgeon Bay YMCA on Fridays at 6:30 and are welcoming new players.
