The Sturgeon Bay boys basketball team will open its season Friday night with a non-conference game at Green Bay East. Last season, the Clippers were 12-2 in the Packerland Conference, sharing the league title with N-E-W Lutheran. Sturgeon Bay was 16-9 overall and lost to Brillion in a Division 3 regional final. Sturgeon Bay and Green Bay East met during the 2011-2012 season. The Red Devils won that contest 59-46.
