The Green Bay Sluggers beat Sturgeon Bay 6-2 in the Championship game of the 11 year old State Cal Ripken Tournament in Dodgeville.
Green Bay scored 5 runs in the top of the sixth to open up a close game before Sturgeon Bay scored twice in the bottom of the 6th inning. Max Bordeau, Tanner DeGrave, Trevor Reinhardt, Ryan Jacobson and Trent Ehlers had base hits for Sturgeon Bay.
State Champion Green Bay and runner-up Sturgeon Bay advance to the Ohio Valley Regional in Logansport, Indiana.
