Storm stays undefeated

The Kewaunee baseball team improved to (4-0) in the Packerland Conference with an 8-2 win over Sturgeon Bay on Monday. The Storm took advantage of six Clippers errors as they scored in all but one inning. Payton Kohnle doubled twice and Caleb Schaller had 2 hits and Cal Ihlenfeldt drove in two runs to lead the Kewaunee attack while Ihlenfeldt and Schaller combined to strikeout 8 in the game. Bennett Johnson drove in both runs and Braeden Haines scored twice for Sturgeon Bay.

Oconto won the Packerland Conference Meet at the Orchards Golf Course followed by Sturgeon Bay, Peshtigo and Southern Door. Peshtigo’s Grant Bauman took top honors with a 41 while Christian Koch of Oconto finished with a 43.
