The Kewaunee girls basketball team will play in the WIAA State Tournament for the third consecutive season after a 54-40 win over Xavier at Ashwaubenon on Saturday Night. The Storm jumped out to an early 14-5 lead at the end of the first quarter but trailed 22-19 at the half. Kewaunee would have a 33-29 lead after three quarters before putting the Hawks away in the fourth. The 2013 girls State Tournament will be played at the Resch Center in Green Bay. Kewaunee will play Lodi at 9:05 Friday morning on 93.9FM /wdor.com
