Sturgeon Bay beat Gibraltar 4-1 in a Packerland Conference baseball game at Billerbeck Field in Fish Creek on Friday. Lucas Stephenson fired a one-hitter with 9 strikeouts as the Clippers won their third game this week. Sturgeon Bay led throughout as Casey Giesseman had a 2-run double in the first inning that scored Stephenson and Riley Cordier. Keith Lehmann added an RBI single and RBI sacrifice fly to close the scoring. Cordier had three hits and Giesseman add two for Sturgeon Bay. Kyle Keehan had the only hit for the Vikings. Sturgeon Bay will host Valders in a WIAA Division 2 regional opener on Tuesday, while Gibraltar has a first round bye and will play their first tournament game on Wednesday.
