Luxemburg-Casco beat Southern Door, 10-0 in 6 innings in a WIAA Division 2 regional semi-final on Wednesday. Sara Simonar fired a 2-hitter and L-C had 13 hits and scored in every inning except the first. Alexis Dorner drove in pinch runner Nicole Haen in the 2nd inning and Cassie Dart single home McKenzie Ronsman in the 3rd for a 2-0 lead. The Spartans combined to score 7 runs in the 4th and 5th innings to put the game out of reach. Madysen Theyse and Dart had three hits and Dorner added 2 hits and 3 RBI’s to lead L-C. Gabby Atkins doubled for Southern Door (19-4). Luxemburg-Casco (20-3) will host West De Pere on Friday for the regional championship.
