Luxemburg-Casco will take on New London for the WIAA Division 2 Sectional Championship at Shawano on Thursday with the winner advancing to the WIAA State Softball Tournament in Madison. The #4 ranked Spartans (22-3) have tournament wins over Southern Door, West De Pere and Marinette while the #7 ranked Bulldogs (24-5) have tournament wins over Xavier, Freedom and Adams-Friendship. The Bay Conference foes split their regular season meetings with each team winning on their opponents home field. The Spartans won State titles in 2009 and 2010 while the Bulldogs won it in 2013 and were runner-up last year.
