Southern Door Improves To 3-0

The Southern Door girls are now 3-0 for the first time since 2007-2008 after their 41-36 win at Kewaunee Tuesday night.  The Storm jumped out to a 10-4 lead after the opening quarter, but the Eagles would rally, blanking Kewaunee in the second quarter 13-0 for a 17-10 halftime lead.  Kewaunee would cut the deficit to four at the end of three quarters and Southern Door would win after a back-and-forth fourth quarter.  Gabby Atkins scored 14 points and Bailey Hanson added 11 for the Eagles (2-0 Packerland / 3-0 overall).  Angie Kudick scored 12 to pace Kewaunee (1-1 / 1-2).

Non-Conference Boy’s Baskeball:
Southern Door beat Wrightstown, 66-60
Marinette beat Gibraltar, 55-34
Kewaunee at Luxemburg-Casco – PPD (Rescheduled for 12/9)
(Kewaunee did not have enough WIAA mandated practice time)

Next scheduled broadcast on 93.9 FM WDOR and will be Saturday night when Sturgeon Bay plays at Wrightstown in a non-confererence boys game.  Coverage begins at 7:20 with tip-off at 7:30.
