The Southern Door football team picked up their first win of the season, beating Valders 31-21 on Friday Night at Southern Door. The Eagles (1-3) took the lead in the fourth quarter on a 40 yard field goal from Keegan Kroening, and after stopping the Vikings (0-4) on downs, put the game away with a 67 yard td pass from Mitchel Neubauer to Drew Klaubauf. Neubauer finished with 4 touchdown passes, two to Klaubauf and one each to Cal McCarty and Dylan Pizzala. The Eagles forced 4 Valders turnovers as McCarty, Luke Spude and Matt Rollin recovered fumbles and Nate Slaby added an interception.
