The Southeast and Southwest sections of the Door County Snowmobile Trail system opened on Wednesday afternoon. Conditions are listed as fair and they will be grooming the trails.
The Southwest section includes all areas west of County Road M and west of the south half of the Ahnapee State Trail.
The Southeast Section is from Gordon Road south over the Bayview Bridge and includes Potawatomi State Park and the Ahnapee State Trail to the South Door County line at County road X. The west edge of this section is defined by County Road M and the south half of the Ahnapee Trail.
The North and Central sections remained closed.
