On Saturday, Kolberg beat Maplewood in a makeup of a game from late June that was postponed due to wet field conditions. Nick LeCaptain had three hits in the win, Christian Counard, Trevor Reinhardt, Austen Dart, & Tyler Neinas all had three hits. Jake Schneider struck out 10 and earned the win. Kody Kissinger, Jayden Diller, Adam Gutschow, & Kordell Draves all had two hits each for Maplewood.
On Sunday Kolberg beat Institute 12-5. The Braves trailed 3-0 early, then 5-3 before scoring four runs in the 7th & five more in the 9th inning to pull away from the Cubs. Ausetn Dart had three hits & 2 RBI, Nick LeCaptain & Jake Schneider had two hits each, Devin Schinkten drove in three runs. Tyler Neinas picked up the win. Jaeger Brusky had three hits for the Cubs, Quinn Schram had two hits.
Washington Island knocked off Egg Harbor 10-8. The Islanders scored three runs in the 7th, breaking a 7-7 tie. Luke Geiger had five hits, Matt Foss had two hits & three RBI. Bennet Isaacson-Kreuger got the win. Eric DeJardine homered & drove in 4 for the Indians, Cody Giesseman & Nick Kita each had two hits.
Maplewood doubled up West Jacksonport 8-4, but the game was tied at 3 in the 6th when the Mets pulled way, scoring 4 runs including home runs from Kordell Draves & Mark Villers. Tory Jandrin had two hits, winning pitcher Jeremiah Jahnke struck out 8. Alec Scharnter had two hits including a homerun, Woody Schartner & CJ Goetz both had a pair of hits.
Sister Bay beat Baileys Harbor 7-6. No game details were reported by either team.
