Southern Door has accepted the resignation on baseball coach Dave Neinas. The District has said that the opening could be posted as soon as February 15th. The first day for practice is Monday, March 20th. The following is the release from Southern Door Superintendent Chris Peterson….
Mr. Neinas has resigned his position as the Southern Door Varsity Baseball Coach. In a statement to me, he stated unforeseen reasons for stepping away from the program. He said, “I’ve enjoyed working with the boys for the past 10 years, and wish them luck in the future.”
Dave has been our Varsity Baseball Coach for 10 years. Over those years the team has grown and accomplished the following:
- 3 Conference titles.
- 1 trip to Sectionals.
- Motivating team members to have successful post-graduation careers.
We want to thank Mr. Neinas for his years of dedicated service to the athletes of Southern Door, and wish him the best in his future endeavors.
