Taylor Schmidt (Algoma), a sophmore guard at UW-Oshkosh, has been selected to the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women’s basketball team by the league coaches. In 16 WIAC games, Schmidt averaged 11.9 points per game.
Marissa Selner (Kewaunee), a junior forward at UW-Oshkosh and Alex Richard (Kewaunee), a sophomore forward for the Titans, were Honorable Mention selections. Selner averaged 8.9 ppg/6.4 rppg and Richard 10.1ppg/6.5rpg.
UW-Oshkosh (22-6) will open the NCAA Division 3 tournament against North Central College (Ill.) on Friday at Calvin College’s Van Noord Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
