The Sturgeon Bay baseball team beat Algoma 15-2 in the home opener at Memorial Field on Tuesday. Riley Schartner hit a first inning grand slam and added a 3-run blast in the third to finish with 7 RBI’s while Joey Sheehy and David VanDreese had RBI doubles and Riley Cordier added 2 hits. VanDreese, Chase Mickey and Christian Foss pitched for Sturgeon Bay while Austen Dart hit a 2-run home run and Sam Koss doubled for Algoma.
